Scout apparetly thinks that her father can't do anything anymore because he is too old. Suddenly, one day, Scout tells Calpurnia that she spotted old Tim Johnson and that he was sick. Calpurnia runs back in a hurry inside to tell everyone that here is a crazy dog ( who has rabbies) is on it's way. When Atticus arrives, he is told that it is his job to shoot the dog, although he didn't want to.Scout then learns something new about her father, he was the "deadest shot"(98) in Maycomb! Has Atticus been keeping something from his past from them?
